Opening Event

Wow! What an incredible turnout and milestone for the Alexander Art Academy. Thank you to all who came out to support our first student exhibition, the AAA Annual Exhibition 2020. Thanks to all the students for submitting their paintings timeously. I’m grateful to all who helped to make this exhibition possible.

Showcased annually at The Studio Art Gallery, this student’s exhibition exhibits works produced by artists mentored by Marc Alexand. Artworks cover not only a multitude of styles and techniques but also themes. Each artist focused on both their unique giftings and preferences, producing their best work.

For the exhibition, artists could produce one artwork each. Using a quality canvas: 61cm by 61cm square or 61cm by 76.2cm landscape or portrait with at least a 12oz cotton duck canvas stretched on a combination stretcher (constructed with mortise-and-tenon corners, keyed with wooden expansion wedges).

All artworks will be for sale and the exhibition will run until 16 December.

Certainly look out for the next Alexander Art Academy exhibition in 2021.
