The Great White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) is a large water bird often found in and around the southern peninsula, known for its striking white plumage, long pink bill with a yellow pouch, and graceful flight. It primarily inhabits shallow wetlands and feeds on fish, often cooperating in groups to herd prey.
